LUNCHTIME MYSTERY THEATER : COBRA THE SERIES (ep1-1)

I'm a huge fan of Buichi Teresawa's work, all his work rocks, but the one creation of his that stands out and introduced me to his work was Space adventurer Cobra the Television series.

I originally saw it in the 80's on spanish television and later bought the VCD's (in Japanese with no subtitles) and eventually found the original Japanese DVD's with (thank God) english subtitles.

This post may be up only for a limited time due to the fact that I respect and admire Mr. Terasawa's work and I am posting this movie with the intent of sharing his creations with others.

If this offends or upsets Mr. Terasawa or if any one intends on releasing it to the US market, just shoot me an email and I'll take it down.

GameStop director Leonard Riggio has sold 2.3 million shares in the US retailer, worth $60.2 million, which has lead to some analysts to predict that some tough times are ahead for the company, as the last time Riggio sold shares in 2007 he avoided making a 62% loss.

A spokeperson for GameStop told Barrons, that the shares were sold for tax planning reasons. However Alex Romayev from Form4Oracle noted that it looked as if Riggio lacked confidence in the company’s stock. He is also the founder and chairman of Barnes & Noble and holds a 31 per cent stake in the firm valued at around $369.1 million. Alex commented that “unless he desperately needs USD 60 million, he’s got a lot bigger stake in Barnes & Noble. Clearly he thinks selling GameStop is better than selling Barnes & Noble.”

SF4: DHALSIM vs GOUKEN TOURNEY FOOTAGE

Now, Dhalsim vs Gouken isn't exactly a match up you see everyday, but after watching this video of Alex Valle versus UTJ it makes me think we will see a lot more of it in the future. Using Goukens parry attack is a great way to punish Dhalsim's limbs and send him flying into a corner where he is at a serious disadvantage. Just goes to show how viable console characters can be in certain match ups. Check it out.

I MISS MY DREAMCAST

Surfing through the interweb, I cam across this video (see below) that made my dewy eyed for my Dreamcast.

Don't get me wrong, I still own one with a lot of "backups" but it's Moth balled in my closet. I packed it up to keep dust and insects out of it in the hopes of putting together a kick ass entertainment room someday.

Until then all I have are memories....sniff...

( and a PS3 with a 500gb Hard Drive, built in WI-FI and access to hundreds of free demos )

But until I get Street Fighter 3 : 3rd Strike HD on the PSN, I'll still have a reason to keep my Dreamcast.
