PIXEL DRIP PRESENT'S• I’M THE ART SHOW, DEAL WITH IT! •





PixelDrip Gallery paid tribute to The Legend of Korra with an art show on March 23rd-24th 2013! The gallery featured work from more than a hundred artists! ( Even I added to the mix... ) It was held at Monk Space, located at 4414 West 2nd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90004.

GI JOE : Snake Eyes vs Cobra in Color

Sorry for the long intervals between posts, I've been focusing on picking up a pencil and trying to finally finish some illustrations for once instead of leaving things half way.

So here we go:

I colored my inked drawing of Snake Eyes on the ipad using a Wacom stylus in the Artstudio app.
I'm really surprised as to how well it turned out being that I hate coloring due to the fact that I've ruined a lot of my better looking drawings trying to color them with markers and watercolor, that I pretty much gave up on coloring until recently. Anyhow here it is hope you like it.

Cashing in on a buck.

The shooting gallery in San Francisco is currently featuring the art of James Charles, who among other things, likes to work in the medium of US currency.

He redesigns real currency notes and I have to say the results are amazing, I'm still trying to figure out how he removes the original image and maintains the Bills hue and pattern.

If you want to purchase some of his funny money, they go for $600-$1000 a pop.
