COMIC LANDMARKS IN NYC : FOUR FREEDOM PLAZA

During one of my nights out with the guys, I mentioned that there was a building in the city that looked a lot like the Freedom Four Plaza headquarters of the Fantastic Four during John Byrne's run on the title in the late 80's.
I wasn't sure where it was but I remember seeing it somewhere in the city and sure enough I tracked it down a few days ago, The Conde Nast building on 42nd and Broadway.

Coincidence? highly unlikely.

Architects are, for lack of a better word, nerds. Nerds read comics right?

Whatever the case may be I feel a lot safer knowing that Reed Richards is keeping a watchful eye over us.
