Welcome to the premiere installment of "comic book moment of the week" I'm going to take look at some of the comics that are coming out from the big Three publishers and just highlights some of the moments from these books to give those of you who are out of the comic loop a glimpse into the world of your favorite character.

We're going to file this weeks entry under "writer is either painting himself into a corner or he's going to open a can of clones" with this weeks moment,

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN # 635 - THE GRIM HUNT part 2
writer : Joe Kelly - Artists: Michael Lark & Stephano Gaudino

A follow up to the KRAVEN'S LAST HUNT story from the 80's where Kraven drugs spidey up, buries him and then proceeds to become the "Spider" by wearing his "skin". Parker finally wakes up, finds Kraven, beats the living snot out of him and then Kraven sends a letter to the NYPD confessing to all sorts of wrong doing and shoots himself with an rifle and dies.

Several years later, Kravens wife and his Two kids along with the Sinister Six all get together to pay Spiderman a little payback.

Don't worry folks, it's just a flesh wound.....

I know that next issue they'll bullshit their way out of this one, but until then they've go my attention.

AWESOME FOUR FOOT TALL GUNDAM SEED PAPERCRAFT SCRATCH BUILD

Thanks to Mumblestien for this one.

Gundam fan Taras Lesko had a little time on his hands (Two Months) and built himself a 4 foot tall scale Gundam Seed out of paper.

He started by building a Bandai 1/100 model of the Gundam, then Modeled it by hand in 3D studio MAX and broke it down into sections for printing.

The structure is comprised of over 500 parts printed on 175 sheets of card stock paper.

one exacto knife, a clip board, lots of glue and a ton of patients and you've got yourself an awesome display piece!

See the time lapse construction below:

BATMAN GOES GONZO

We here at Grandaiza.com take our monkey business serious, so when the adult movie industry makes a parody of the campy 60's batman TV show.... well we just have to share it with the rest of you pervs.

Don't worry, the trailer is from Youtube so it's wife / girlfriend safe.

KING OF CHINATOWN STREET FIGHTER DOC.

I first met Justin Wong back in the mid 90's when I use to frequent the game and robot shops on Elizabeth St. in New York's Chinatown.

He was (and probably still is) a regular at a small arcade on Mott St. (the one with the Tic Tac Toe chicken) that use to get all the major fighting game cabinets before anywhere else in the city.

I played against him (most of the times, he was the guy who everyone was trying to get beat to stay on he machine) during my unemployed, wild vagabond days at that very arcade during one of many crowded stay and play sessions of Street Fighter 3 : 3rd strike, I plunked my Quarter down on the cabinet, waited my turn and lost several Dollars each visit never 0nce winning a match.

Ten years later, I have a good job with benefits, a wife and a child and he's making a living playing Street fighter....life sucks.

To give you a little back story on the Justin x Daigo rivalry. They are responsible for the greatest Street fighter video comeback I've ever seen. EVO semifinals Las Vegas 2004, Justin paying Chun Li and Daigo as Ken.

Justin, thinking that he has the win and the game with a Super move with Chun Li in the final round get's a rude awakening for Daigo's Ken.

I know you've seen this clip before but let's look at the entire match and wonder why we don't see highlights of Tournaments in HD on G4 or SPIKE.

Five years Later, Justin & Daigo met again in Vegas at the 2009 Evo Street Fighter 4
( sorry for the video quality)

Give it up Justin, Daigo is a Beast!

MY THOUGHTS ON WONDER WOMAN'S NEW OUTFIT.

Jim Lee is debuting her new look in this weeks WW # 600 but to me it looks like something more appropriate for Donna Troy or the current Wonder Girl.

Sorry Mr. Lee, but without the star spangled one piece, it just doesn't feel like the same character, it's not Wonder Woman.

I predict that DC will have back in her original fan servicing swimsuit in 4 issues.

Just for kicks, here are some of the classic Wonder Woman costumes next to a couple of abandoned attempts to revamp the characters look.

Did you like the 70's ultra white super spy and the 90's bike messenger look?

My point exactly.
