Let's read comics #1

For those of you who just can't suffer though another crossover event or the next death of a major character from the Warner and Disney camps, I've put together this little synopsis of what's doing in the crazy world of comic books.

the BATMAN books:




We lost another Robin this year, this time it was a little pisser of a kid named Damian Wayne, the bastard son of Thalia Al Ghul and the Batman.

Here's how it went down, Bruce told the little shit head to stop dressing up as Robin, Damian thinks the old man is being a tad overprotective, he goes out to fight one of these psychos that are plentiful in Gotham City single handed in the process he gets skewered by over a dozen arrows, then he gets the living shit beat out of him by some giant fake ass Batman sent by his mother to kill his dad and as if thats not enough, he winds up getting impaled with a sword bigger than he is.

You would think that someone in the Justice League would pull Bruce aside and give him a heart to heart about putting all those kids in danger, child protective service will have some questions for you once they see the kid isn't hanging around the mansion anymore, or have you been buying them off.

Batman...you're an asshole.

As for Damian Wayne, he was an annoying little shit of a character, arrogant, entitled but worst of all, he treat Alfred like one of those ladies from "The Help" good riddance.

What...you still here?!?

About 8 months ago due to a miscalculation on my part, I allowed my ownership of the URL grandaiza.com to expire and as fate would have it, some cock sucking euro trash shit head company swooped in and bought the domain name.

I understand fully well that I have no one I blame but myself for letting my domain expire and fall into some shit heads hands, the whole thing just left me feeling mad at myself for letting the name lapse due to carelessness and got into a funk about the blog and mothballed it indefinitely....until now.

So I'm back with renewed vigor, refocusing my posts to things that I'm passionate about, moving forward I want to keep things as true to myself as possible offering the same nerdy shit as before but peppered with a little of that crack that makes me tick and I'll try to keep those YouTube clips down to a minimum.

So thank you for taking the time to visit, I hope from this point forth you like what you see and if you don't fuck off but at least leave me a comment telling me to do the same.

I want to extend an olive branch to New York Comic Con, why did you dump us?

when you first came onto the scene a few years ago, you embraced the blogging community by inviting us to attend with press credentials for the entire weekend, panels previews of upcoming films and games, it was beautiful.

And then like the nerdy girl who finally became accepted by the popular kids, you dumped my puny blog once you caught the eyes of the big boys sites like IGN, 1Up, gametrailers to name a few.

We get it, but little blogs like us sit and talk to attendees, cover niche interests like toys, models, small press publishers, cosplayers and indie games.

So to sum it up, New York Comic Con, let's still be friends, although I don't plan to attend with or without press passes, I wish you the best.
